After a career in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years, Dawn launched The Big Day Company in 2003.

She has been trained by some of the most highly respected international companies and found she had a talent for communication, customer satisfaction and organisation.

She frequently organised corporate launches, weddings, team building events and birthday parties. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, imagination and inspirational ideas became the key to her success.

She believed that introducing the concept of working with a wedding coordinator through The Big Day Company would benefit couples getting married in Worcestershire and surrounding counties by offering them a service that wasn't readily available in the area.   By having someone to support and guide couples through the potential financial and emotional roller coaster of wedding planning the benefits can be invaluable.

Dawn is full time coordinator who can always be contacted. Her friendly approachable personality makes it even easier to call for a chat about the little things that are worrying you.

I believe I have established an unprecedented reputation and 2006 was a fantastic year for both the business and myself.   I won the Enterprise Award 2006, awarded by The Federation of Small Business.   Was accepted as an ASET tutor.   Advising and guiding students studying for a 'Diploma in Wedding Planning' and 'Diploma in Event Planning', and regularly answer the questions of struggling bridal parties as an Agony Aunt for a wedding website. 

 I am truly excited about the future of The Big Day Company, and the introduction of new services we are able to offer to the wedding market in 2007.

I genuinely love being involved in the planning of weddings, it's so lovely to be a part of such a special occasion, because I work with a team of people who support me on a daily basis it means I am able to give each couple the personal touch I feel they deserve.   Knowing I help couple's start their married life together without a hitch (forgive the pun!) is important to me. To see each couple smiling at the end of the evening gives me great satisfaction.

Our usual working process is to arrange a free no obligation initial consultation.   This gives you both an opportunity to meet with myself and me an opportunity to discuss and highlight your areas of concern.   After the meeting I produce a wedding proposal, which you will receive within 2 weeks of our initial meeting.   Your proposal will detail the elements you have requested help with.   This is the point at which you decide if you would like The Big Day Company to work with you on the plans for your wedding.
